Featuring the greatest tanks and armoured fighting vehicles ever designed, Tanks Inside Out is a highly illustrated exploration of the workings of some of the most significant armoured vehicles built since World War I. Illustrated with detailed colour artworks and photographs, Tanks Inside Out features 50 of the key tanks to be used in service.
Arranged chronologically, each featured vehicle is illustrated with an excellent colour cutaway artwork labelled with major items of interest. Accompanying this are colour three-view and profile artworks, as well as photographs showing in detail both the vehicle’s interior and exterior. Each entry also has full design and development history and descriptions of any variants.
Highly detailed specifications for each vehicle give number built, weight, dimensions, performance, engine details, range and armament. All of the major tank types are featured, including the Tiger, Panther, T-72, M1 Abrams, Leopard II and the Challenger II. Packed with colourful illustrations and data, Tanks Inside Out is an essential reference guide for modellers, military historians and tank enthusiasts.
